She had me at "Hola"...
Suki, is my faithful companion and knitting partner. She's a five year old long haired chihuahua who weighs in at a whopping 4 lbs, but don't let her diminutive size fool you. This furry little nugget is a feisty, alpha Latina on the inside who's not afraid to put 85 lb submissive pooches in their place! It's hilarious to watch my sister's boxer/lab mix (pictured right) playing beta to a dog that's almost 20 times smaller than she!
"This is the money shot!" |
She never fails to put a smile on my face and feeds my soul on a daily basis! I'm pretty crazy about her! (Hey, you don't see her picking up my poop!)

If this were "match.com" I'd so ask Suki for a date. :)
ReplyDeleteMill, if I didn't know better (and if I didn't think my husband wouldn't approve) I'd totally ask YOU for a date! I love you man!
ReplyDeleteAhhh Ariel was such a sweetheart!
ReplyDeleteThe pic of Ariel really touched my heart. I have four, 3 Yorkies and 1 Maltese (two of the Yorkies are rescues - and my vet knows I'm a softy). I am going to lose Fannie soon to cancer, and it breaks my heart to think about it. I feel your pain, Millard! But I can tell that Ariel had a great, pampered life, and Suki is living the dream as well. God bless our friends, no matter the leg count.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie pie!!! I have a longing for a cheeewahwah as well. One day!
ReplyDeleteToo cute!!!
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry for your loss. Ariel is lovely. Suki is adorable, I have FIVE Shih Tzu (also very much like cats) I love large dogs, but now am thinking of a little Chi.....:) Your knitting is just beautiful, you are a very well rounded man. It is a pleasure to read this, I never have read anyones blog, and never have felt the need to comment, until now! Keep up the good work, on every path of life's journey. Good for you!
ReplyDeleteShelby Anne, Thanks so much for your sweet compliment! I really love Shih Tzu's and have thought about getting one several times over the years. I'm so flattered to have had you comment and extend well wishes! Comments like yours is what keeps my interest in keeping up the blog. I hope you continue to enjoy it!
